Patrck Swayze Passes Away
Image via WikipediaPatrick Swayze, aged 57, well-known for his role in the movie Ghost has passed away. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008. He died on Monday.
He fought hard against the disease, and even continued working during his struggle. He had a lead role in the TV series The Beast.
His role in Ghost, a supernatural romantic thriller, which also starred Demi Moore, captivated audiences worldwide. Whoopi Goldberg played a well-received supporting role as semi-fake medium.
Swayze first became something of a sensation in the earlier film Dirty Dancing in 1987.
